    Tamilnadu Tour 2006

    May 26th, 2006

    After a long time I am posting an entry!

    During last week I visited many places of Tamilnadu, India. It was very hot there but we enjoyed the tour and it was a nice experience.

    Check snaps at,

    In 6 days we visited,

    Hyderabad ->  Chennai -> Pondicherry -> Srirangpattanm -> Rameshwar -> Kanyakumari -> Madurai -> Kanchipuram -> Mahabalipuram -> Chennai -> Ongole -> Markapur -> Guntur -> Vijaywada -> Hyderabad…

    It was almost 3700 km tour in 6 days. We also had Tirupathi temple in our plan, but due to some emergency work, I had to cut short and returned back to same desk and PC!

    Pondicherry is really a nice place and I like houses of the city. (And also girls! Typical south Indian, only one superlative word:  Suuuppperrrr… Image)

    At Kanyakumari, there is one place which is not that much famous but I found that very nice. Place is Vattakottai (In Tamil, Vatta - Circular & Kottai - Fort, Circular Fort). Also, wind farm is worth to see. In night wind farm’s blue lights are attractive.

    Mahabalipuram’s stone carving shows great art. All the statues in pictures are made from a single stone!

    Chennai city is too hot! One should go there in winter only!

    Finally it was a great fun!
