Oracle Field Service has come up with a new functionality of Alerts & Notifications for Technicians.

New functionality for the Alerts & Notification has been added for Field Service. System will send an Email alert/notification on business events on high priority tasks. This note will describe the functionality in details with profile options and basic setup required for this functionality. This functionality provides base for the Mobile Field Service?s Auto Synchronization functionality.

For those of you using MS Windows, do the following:

1) Open an empty notepad file
2) Type, “Bush hid the facts” (without the quotes)
3) Save it as whatever you want.
4) Close it, and re-open it.

Can anybody explain me the technical reason behind this?
