In western countries, people have been using GPS in their cars for years and it is practical only because all the street info has already been collected. Have you seen any other product like this in Indian market ?  Do you see any new genuine apps of this concept for Indian market ?

I am not sure about any Indian Gov initiative. But current Indian satellite images are not up to the mark to use for driving direction. Latest information I have is of CARTOSAT-1. This satellite sends images of 8-bits resolution mono and on ground it is 2.5 mt per pixel. Also, I have heard about few companies have started similar services in cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad, but I am not sure they are using Google/Microsoft satellites pictures or static maps!
