Domestic Violence Act
October 30th, 2006Many of us might not be aware of this but from 26th Oct, 2006 Domestic Violence Act for women has come into effect. We criticize our government for Reservation quota and send many emails but we ignore some good things done by them.
Now we have proper laws which protect women against physical, emotional, verbal and economic violence. Not only relations like wife, mother and sister are covered but live-in partners are also covered under the same. Good to see, Indian mentality is opening…
So, guys think twice before asking for money from your girl friend/wife! They can sue you under economic violence if they are not in a good mood!
